The Hartnell Community said to be among the oldest instructive establishments in California. Founded in 1920, it was under the name Salinas Junior College. It was then later renamed in 1948 into what it current known as. The school has a close proximity to Monterey Coast, and is said to have a very breathtaking scenery. The institute, which is found in Monterey County, is said to be a mere 20 minutes, by motor vehicle, from the said place. To properly manage this educational organization, trustees take on the responsibility of making sure the proper operation of the establishment is implemented. The current head and president of the Hartnell College trustees bears the name Candi Depauw. Depauw, who was born in Texas, and was known to grow up there as well. She attended tertiary learning both at University of Wisconsin, as well as Texas A & M University, which is exactly where she got her BS degree in Social Political Science. Later, she took and obtained a masters degree in Agriculture, mainly Horticulture. Before destiny chose her to be the trustees president, she proved to be valuable greenhouse manager and Landscape Contracting business owner.
Candi Depauw Hartnell College Trustee is noted to mention that acquiring the opportunity of working in her present designation was one of, if not the greatest things that happened in her entire life.
