Some Of The Factors Taken Into Account In Arguments Against Evolution

If there is one phenomenon that still has many questions around it, it is that of how the universe came into being. First there is the creation story in the bible, which is believed by most Christians, and also the theories from evolutionists. Some people are therefore torn in between the lines on which story to go with. This is one of the reasons why scientists have been working hard to approve and disapprove these theories. Some of the results have resulted to many arguments against evolution.

Among the arguments against the theories of evolution is that of lack of people who saw it happening. Those supporting this statement say that if it were something real, then the process would still be happening even at the present moment. Therefore, there should be a number of transitional forms which can be observed. However, what is seen is a group of differentiated animals and plants.

Various experiments have been carried out on fruit flies to try and see if new species can be produced from them. The fruits in this case are characterized by a rapid rate of reproduction. However, the tests which were meant to come up with a new species through mutation failed, of which it would have been possible if the theories of evolution were true.

Meteoritic dust was discovered to be settling on top of the moon and the earth. Since it is a continuous process, it is expected that after a long period of time the dust should have piled up many inches on the surfaces of these bodies. This is also what made the evolutionists to think that the first ship sent on the moon was going to sink. However, what they had thought did not occur as only less than an inch is what was found. It therefore indicates that the moon is still young.

All heavenly bodies have their own magnetic fields, and so does the earth. That of the earth however keeps on reducing at a constant rate. It therefore means that many years ago its magnetism was very strong, something close to impossible.

Some arguments also look at the fact that if the magnetism of the earth is due to electric currents in it then it would not be in place today. This is because the heat that would have been generated by the currents some twenty thousand years ago would have easily dissolved the earth. This is therefore against the theories of the evolutionists.

The theory of punctuated equilibria seems to have its flaws. Even some of the evolutionists disagree by themselves. It was developed in order to try and answer the questions arising with geological records as there were no transitional fossils found. According to the theory, birds would have given birth to mammals, i. E. One species arising from another.

The circumstances under which the theory of punctuated equilibria would have occurred are just too minimal and the probability is even low. This and other evidences make up the arguments against evolution. Most of those arguing against the theories believe in the possibility of creation taking place.
